Chapter 2 Alice and Alyss

Then came the birth of Alice and Alyss Rose. Twin sisters, they were, but each with the appearance of night and day. However, for every Rose born into the family a symbol signifying their birth is stated onto their body like a tattoo. Once the girl's first cry was heard, a red blooming rose in flames appeared on the center of their chest.

As the transaction occurred, it isn't only sought by the Rose family, but for every other royal that has their family emblem sealed onto their flesh. And yet, the process only happens to those who are born into appropriate families with "distinctive" features or tangible legacies within their heritage. Like forming a contract with a Grimm beast into becoming a Chain. For you see, every contracted Chain shows its claim from a symbol of the Grimm's mark that appears almost on every visible/invisible part on their master's body. And as I stated in the previous chapter how each seal is different also details on the beast's inner strength, status, and manifestations in power.

For Alice, she was born with pure white skin, purple eyes, and long dark brown hair with two side plaits. Her sister, Alyss, was instead born with long white hair as she also designed it with two side plaits like Alice.

That within 2018, once the girls became sixteen years old it was Alice who became the chosen master of B-Rabbit; abbreviated from its true name being "Blood-Stained Rabbit" from all the crimson blood that turned black from its previous kills. As the contract was started a symbol made into was then imprinted onto the palm of her right hand. For the sealed looked to be an eccentric design where you see outlined on an old-fashioned pocket watch. Which was in possession of B-Rabbit when it was first introduced to the Rose family. Alice who became a Chain and the master of B-Rabbit, with Alyss who effortlessly trained in becoming a God's Arm stood side by side together in many battles two years later, now making the twins eighteen years old. However, fighting off two Infernos and one Sinner was when tragedy struck.

Before one of the two Infernos could take its last breath as the battle was over, the humanoid furnace impaled Alyss trough the stomach with its sharp fiery fingernails!

Witnessing this Alice screamed a furry of raw anger with tears falling from her eyes towards the mindless beast as she dastardly ran towards her sister. While B-Rabbit who was in-tuned with its handler's emotion and brutally slaughtered the Inferno. Leaving nothing left but fiery coal clump.

Oh how the poor girl while holding onto the body of her beloved sister as Alyss tried with all her might to stay awake. But the pain was all that she felt, as her body began to grow cold despite the attack that was enveloped flames made her body felt like to others that she on fire herself. Witnessing that there wasn't much time left, Alice demanded B-Rabbit to find any way to her twin, no matter the cost. And so, it did, but at a great cost; an 'eye for an eye' as they say. Two sides of a coin that is light and dark, to now and forevermore become one and the same person. For what transpired then happened four years ago, as it is now 2022.
