Our second hello

Episode 4: it's Zayne

In less than an hour, we were at the airport. We all got out of the car. In a distance the airport stood there beautiful, glass, flashy. There was a big sign board on top of the building that read "International Airport".

We were amazed by the beautiful site.

Monisha couldn't stop squealing. she kept on taking selfies and filming herself, announcing, "I'm going to meet the triplets! Pearl, Zayne, Jace".

They were really famous in this country. Their parents were among of the richest people. they were even on the top 10 richest list.

Zayne and Jace were in a boy band. that's what made them so popular.

I was really impressed by the size of the airport.

we walked inside. it was crowded and noisy. Everyone was busy with their business.

"Guys, we should stay together", I said in a worried voice. "or we might get lost".

Monisha wasn't listening, she was on her phone and ended up stepping on someone.

Instead of apologizing, she started picking up a fight

Aria and I quickly apologize on her behalf. "sorry about her", we said. the guy didn't mind. He just walked away.

We kept on walking.

Monisha wasn't even worried. she just kept doing whatever she was doing. she didn't care if we were at her back.

Then we overheard people saying, "The plane landed ten minutes ago", So we joined the crowd of people waiting at arrivals.

I saw people holding sign boards. "Dad, I'm here", "Welcome home".

Aria dragged my hand. "Don't let go", she said "I don't want us to get separated".

I rolled my eyes. "I'm fine Aria".

Then, all of a sudden, people started gathering at the entrance. This was where passengers from the plane would walk through.

They were cheering, taking pictures. it was like there was a party happening.

I couldn't see who it was because of the crowd.

Who was it.

I stretched on my toes but I still wasn't tall enough.

Monisha was trying to push through the crowd. Aria and I stayed at the back.

For five minutes the crowd just keep getting bigger and I still couldn't see

Then body gaurds. Big huge men dressed in black started clearing a path for the person to come through.

The noise was getting louder and louder.

Then he came out.

Black, long hair with a rainbow streak. Blue eyes just like a blue ocean. He look so handsome and have a muscular body like those models in TV. And he looked familiar. so familiar.

Then it hit me.

Zayne.

I was stunned because it felt like he was looking right at me.

or was he?

Everything went blank. All I could hear was my heart pounding.

I thought this feelings was dead. I thought was over.

But it wasn't. it was still there.

Questions started flooding my mind.

"Hey, Ella. let's go see them"Aria said, snapping me out of it.

Monisha has already followed the tripplet to a private room while the body gaurds was controlling the crowd. Aria grabbed my arm to pull me, but I didn't move. I just stood there like a statue

"What happened?" Aria asked

"I----I have to go ", I said my voice shaking. "Go where?" " To the washroom. you guys go. I'll be back ", I said, and ran straight to the washroom to the sink.

I splashed water on my face to calm down. I held on to the sink so tight I thought it would break.

"what is happening?"I asked myself.

"This isn't to happen, Ella. He's your cousin. you can't like your cousin". "why do I have to like a guy who can never be mine ?"

A tear fell. I looked at my self in the mirror by the sink and quickly wiped it away.

I still wasn't ready to go out. part of me just wanted to stay here until they all left.

if sneak out, it won't be a big deal, right? "what's wrong with you, Ella?" I said out loud to myself. "He's just your cousin. say Hi and it'll be over", "No", I answered back. what if I say something stupid?what if I do something awkward".
