Xoila felt a sudden surge of happiness and Isa was thrilled purring in delight. Then amber eyes and a sinister laugh flashed in her mind and the happiness disappeared and Xoila’s mind was plagued with thoughts that drowned out Isa’s pleas

 I pushed him back with all my might and fell to the floor breathing hard my chest was tight and I was shaking tears pricked my eyes. I knew what this but I couldn't fight it then Isa tried to calm me down but it wasn't working.

‘Your okay human your okay he could never hurt you’

Stacy quickly ran to my side and held me rubbing circles on my back. I heard someone say "hey...hey it's okay he didn't mean to scare you" squatting down to our level and carefully reached for my hand. 

I flinched away and then Stacy growled at the stranger that tried to touch my hand, tears suddenly streaming down her face as well

I linked Stacy 

'I'm sorry'

She kept her guard up watching these men closely as the tears steadily streamed down her face

'For what?'

'I'm not really sure'

'Then you have no reason to apologize silly I'm sure he surprised you is all, I mean I fell on my ass'

Even throughout this conversation, not a single emotion showed on her face as tears began to slow. I looked from the handsome blonde to the delicious man with long inky black curls 

'I think we just met our mates' not taking my eyes off of his curly hair

'I think we did look at how hot they are!' she said a slight smirk on her lips

"What should we do with the girls, Alpha?" Stacy held me tighter and he looked at me with his eyes full of hurt suddenly made me feel guilty and caused me to wince back dropping my gaze. 

I'm sorry

His eyes went stony and he spoke "Take them to the packhouse this one to the deltas quarters and this one to my room" my eyes went wide and I looked at him with tear-stained cheeks.

Suddenly Stacy was pulled from me and I quickly turned to see her growl at being picked up suddenly. Outraged I lunged over to her trying to get to Stacy who was flailing with all her might and growling"Let me down". I was about to grab her hand when this huge dude came to block me, I growled before he got any closer. The large man quickly turned to him and said "Alpha?" 

Was this dude ask for permission...for what?

He didn't answer simply nodded and then as if this hot fucker was the flash he suddenly disappeared and I couldn't sense him. I felt a small gust of wind as strong arms appeared and gently picked me up. I gasped at the sudden contact and turned to look at him “Hey you-” then I felt a pinch and heard Stacy gasp “Hey why would you--ow!” and then I passed out

I woke up and sat up stretching scowling because this isn’t my room then my eyes grew wide Holy s**t this isn’t my room I felt Stacy get anxious 

‘Xoila?’

‘Yeah?’

‘Where the f**k are we?’

‘I dunno I literally just woke up'

'How do you not know! where are you Xo?’ 

‘I just woke up and I dunno but I'm in a really nice room’

'Oris is gonna kill us Xo'

'f**k your right we gotta go home, let's get out of here’

‘Okayyyy’

I stood up getting out of the bed and noticed that I was wearing the clothes I had before shifting

‘Hey did we ever get back to the car’

I waited a moment before she answered

‘No…’

I didn’t waste time and walked to one of the 3 doors I open 2 revealing the bathroom and the walk-in closet and then I found the exit doing a little victory dance and opening it I looked out the wide hall saw an elevator and a staircase that went down 

This must be the top floor  it took me a second to realize I was on the Alphas floor 

‘I’m on the Alphas floor where are you?’

When she didn't answer I made my way towards the stairs at the end of the hall and went down one flight. I slowed as I neared the bottom and peeked out looked around then saw Stacy at the other side of the hall and we swiftly ran meeting each other halfway. She was wearing the same clothes and had her backpack on too “Dude where the f**k are we!” she whispered yelled lowly and I shook my head 

‘Shh they’ll hear you’

‘Well where are we and how the hell did we get our clothes back’ she said in a panicky tone

‘How should I know I'm just as confused as you are’ I said matter a factly

‘Agh your right but where are we’ she said suddenly very annoyed

‘I think we’re in a packhouse’ I said confused as I looked around

‘Okay so what pack?’ she said

‘Does that matter we gotta go home we’ve been missing for a day now’ I said trying to come up with a plan

‘Really!’ now sounding shocked

‘Yeah you dork can’t you tell from the smell of breakfast coming from downstairs’ I said smelling the food

‘Oh yeah’ she said as she inhaled deeply

I looked around and realized this must be the beta floor. Stacy was probably on the delta floor so that's who her mate is. I looked around and my eyes landed on the digital clock 

4:00 am so the Omegas must be up prepping breakfast

‘Okay Stace let's go'

I grabbed her hand and pulled her down the hall and we silently crept past all the doors on the delta floor 

'I think if we go to the fourth floor we’ll probably find a window so we could get out of here’

Stacy looked at me and nodded and we quietly crept to the stairs walking down through the delta floor and again going down to the fourth floor. We looked around and as I predicted we found a window, we moved as quietly as possible towards the window and tried to pull it open.

The window screeched lightly causing us both to flinch, we looked around and there was no one in sight listening closely it was really quiet and when I didn’t hear any of the doors opening I tried again it. The window screeched even louder so I just pushed it up to full strength happy that it finally opened. Suddenly I heard Stacy growl I turned away from my victory to two male wolves looking at us very annoyed.

'Sorry but f**k their beauty sleep' 

Stacy mentally snickered then one of the guys said

“Hey you rouges how did you get in here” the one that spoke was 6 '1 lean built, he had a Fade at the sides of his head and messy black hair, his eyes a cactus green eyes the popped because of his Tan skin. I'm sure that if this asshat smiled he would have cute dimples. This guy was your classic pretty boy with defined yet delicate features and dark eyebrows if not for the situation I’m sure Stacy would have fangirled. 

Suddenly remembering we were trying to escape I scowled “It’s not like we wanted to be here we were just leaving so mind your business”

Stacy laughed “My best friend on yo head” the two guys growled causing her to laugh harder then she smirked “What no come back pretty boy” they growled lunging at us. It was suddenly one of those split-second decision moments so I smirked and looked at Stacy who knew what I was thinking as she nodded. 

We both turned jumping out of the window landing gracefully following through with a GIJoe flip getting the momentum we wanted as we started running towards the forest. 

I thought we were home free but felt some arms snake around me and knew we should have shifted as I began to struggle to get out of the hold. I felt really weak and then I realized that they injected something into our systems and we haven't had anything to eat since yesterday. 

I swiveled enough to see that Pretty boy was holding me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes I growled which made his arms only tightened. Stacy let out a huff in annoyance because she couldn't free herself either

'I'm gonna try to find an opening'

'Ay ay captain'

“We’re taking you guys back to the Alpha,” said the guy that had Stacy as he flung her over his shoulder with one arm firmly wrapped around the waist and turned walking back to the packhouse. The same guy began talking about how they were gonna be rewarded by catching two rogues and Pretty boy's grip loosened. 

I took this chance and swiveled my body making him let go as I dove headfirst landing on my hands I pushed off the ground kicking Pretty boy in the back of the head. Flipping and landing on my feet and then I kicked the dude that held Stacy in the back of the knees before he could react. He fell over and letting go of Stacy to catch himself and Stacy quickly jumped to her feet and ran to my side. I heard the one that had Stacy chuckle and Pretty boy growl in annoyance 

I looked to Stacy wearily feeling hunger takes its toll

'Run'

She didn't give it a second thought and we took off towards where they had caught us heading towards the tropical scent of air freshener in my car.

Soon we heard the pounding of paws behind us and then Stacy looked at me 

'We have to shift'

I nodded

‘I'm gonna shred my limited edition shirt' 

Stacy mentally laughed at me and we both took a running leap shifting mid-air paws soon replaced our hands and feet. The sudden shift causing adrenaline to pump in our veins making us go full speed quickly leaving the two Male wolves behind. We didn't hear the sound of a slight tear and we didn't stop running until we got to the Jeep.

My legs soon came back and Stacy and I walked over to the car and then my eyes widened in horror and I turned to the very naked Stacy "Stace do you have your backpack?" Her eyes widened in horror having realized that she didn't have time to loosen the straps when we shifted. We quickly turned and we both looked around in a panic after we ran like 6 trees away from the car we saw her backpack sighing in relief

'Looks like your gonna need a new one'

I picked up the bag and pulled out my keys handing it to Stacy who hugged it to her chest.

As we started to go past the 4th tree the sound of pounding of paws became clearer as they seemed to be getting closer. We slowly turned and saw two wolves in the distance I didn't have time to think and grabbed Stacy's hand

"Holy s**t get in the car!" And I took off running pulling the shocked Stacy who soon picked up her pace. I clicked the car key button unlocking the car and then flung my door open jumping into the driver's seat slamming my door shut and fumbling to put the key in. Stacy climbed in and as soon as she slammed her door shut I stepped on it, quickly making a U-turn, driving back onto the main road.

I heard their howls notifying their pack leaders that we had escaped but I didn't even realize it, let alone stop the car. My mind was too busy with the fact that I would get stopped by the cops if they saw me right now. 

Other than the fact that I'm going 100mph...I am butt naked. 

Much to our good luck, we got to our home in 20 minutes without getting stopped. I parked on the left side of the house and finally let out a shaky breath I was holding and heard Stacy do the same.

I turned to look, our eyes met and suddenly I could feel the laughter coming and we both burst out giggling "We’re gonna get yelled at" said Stacy as soon as she calmed down and I looked at her 

"Yeah, but at least we're home and can process what the f**k just happened" I took the key out getting out of the car Stacy did the same and we both walked to the trunk pulling out some clothes we had bought the day before ripping off the tags and pulling them on.

His handsome face and azure eyes suddenly flashed in my mind and I heard Isa purr then I remembered how he effortlessly picked me up, the feeling of his rough hands on my skin and made a slight shiver run down my spine I started to wonder what his lips would feel like on mine or how his bare skin--

Woah Xo! What the actual f**k! Relax horny ass!  curse me and my sexy imagination

I couldn't help but shout in frustration "f**k!" and Stacy flinched slightly surprised at my outburst

“f**k he was so f*****g HOT," I let out a huge sigh and rested my hand on my forehead "This isn't good..." I inhaled deeply and said

"What are we gonna do Stace this can't be good for my heart" I grabbed most of the bags and Stacy helped with the rest as we pulled them out of the trunk lugging everything to the front door. 

"I dunno Xoila but my Goddess your right this is bad for our hearts" Stacy took my keys shuffling them until she found the house key. 

"Like don't get me wrong I would have stayed My mate is HELLA fineeeee... but…" She placed it in the lock turning it as I told her 

"I know I thought the same thing" she gave me a look that told me she understood and unlocked the door pushing it open so we could drag everything in. 

After the last bag, we closed it behind us thinking we got away with it walking in and looking up from the bags to an Oris sitting on the couch looking sleep-deprived and worried as hell. For a second he looked completely out of it and when he finally sensed us his face snapped up to look at us.

"Where the heck were you guys I almost had a heart attack" I looked at Stacy who gave me the you-better-tell-him-because-I'm-not-gonna-tell-him look and with a scowl and a sigh I looked at him 

"We went to the mall and then went for a run that might have led to us accidentally crossing on to another packs lands" Oris shot out of his seat and grabbed me by the shoulders 

"What pack?" 

I shrugged and then he looked at Stacy who flinched back at his you-better-tell-me aura and I knew it was a wrap 

"We don't know but I think Xoila's mate is the Alpha that ordered to keep us there" then her hands flew to her mouth "s**t" she mumbled 

Oris turned to look at me "what do you mean your mate ordered to keep you there" 

I glared at Stacy and then said "Well yeah we woke up and were on different floors of what I want to assume was the packhouse in different rooms but we didn’t even talk to her mate either we left before we saw them again” then his eyes went wide 

“You found your mate too!" then he narrowed his eyes "Wait what do you mean woke up in different rooms” he turned to point an accusing finger at Stacy how removed her hands smiling sheepishly 

“Yeah… I found my mate too... and cuz they tranqed us for starting a brawl” then Oris looked from me to her and suddenly very calmly said, 

“Okay...Okay well, other than that and I want to come back to starting a brawl part...why did you run away? Why did you come back?” 

I looked at him feeling like it was a stupid question and then looked at Stacy who had the same expression “Cause we're all family we can't leave family and we didn’t want to leave you alone” Oris's eyes went soft 

"You could have called me" then I moved to hug him and laughed 

“I know but we can’t leave you in this big house alone and I don't think you would settle for a phone call” and then Stacy hugged him too 

"We love you, Ory"

I felt the rumble of his laugh as he said “You guys are so ga-” his sentence was suddenly interrupted by growls coming from different directions.
