The night consisted of embarrassing stories like the time Paul and I got stuck in a ditch because Octavia tricked us into thinking we would find a treasure or the time we dared her to climb a tree and she got stuck so we went to help her and we all got stuck. That day our Moms had found us and our dads could sense their mate's distress came running to see what was wrong.
The moment Dad and Nora laid eyes on us they started to laugh and that's rare usually it was like a chuckle or a “heh” so when they laughed so hard everyone in the pack was shocked. Never in the pack's history had they expressed so much emotion. Regardless of the rare sight after they had stopped laughing they looked over at our moms, they didn't find it all that funny.
