Episode 1: The Impossible Morning
There may be things beyond our imagination and beyond our control.
Arjun Menon believed neither.
At seventeen, he was already famous as a legal prodigy. Logical, disciplined, and emotionally distant, he viewed feelings as weaknesses and facts as weapons. If there was a problem, there was a solution. If there was a mystery, there was an explanation.
Magic was nonsense.
Unfortunately for Arjun, magic didn't care what he believed.
---
Across the city, Maya Nair sprinted across the rooftops.
Sixteen years old and one of the youngest field agents in a secret intelligence organization, she lived for danger. She could crack codes, escape handcuffs, and disappear into a crowd within seconds.
Rules bored her.
And lawyers annoyed her.
Especially one particular lawyer.
Arjun Menon.
Their paths had crossed only once during a security investigation. They had argued for three straight hours before promising never to meet again.
Neither knew that fate had other plans.
---
That night, a strange meteor streaked across the sky.
At the exact moment it passed overhead, both Arjun and Maya touched an ancient pendant connected to an old Kerala legend—the Serpent Moon Artifact.
A flash of silver light exploded.
Then darkness.
---
Arjun woke up the next morning with a headache.
His room looked wrong.
His posters were gone.
His law books were gone.
The walls were covered with maps, photographs, and strange gadgets.
"What is this place?"
The voice that came out wasn't his.
His eyes widened.
Slowly, he turned toward the mirror.
A girl stared back.
Black hair.
Sharp eyes.
A small scar above her eyebrow.
Maya Nair.
"What?!"
---
At that exact moment, Maya woke up in a different room.
Neatly arranged law books lined every shelf.
Legal documents covered a large desk.
And when she looked in the mirror...
A boy stared back.
Arjun Menon.
"No way."
She poked her face.
The reflection copied her.
She screamed.
The reflection screamed.
Then both teenagers received the same text message.
Unknown Number:
"The Serpent Moon has chosen you. Solve the mystery of the lost crown before the next full moon... or remain as you are forever."
---
Arjun and Maya immediately called each other.
"You did this!" Arjun shouted.
"I was literally asleep!" Maya shouted back.
"You touched the artifact!"
"So did you!"
For several seconds, neither spoke.
Then both realized the terrifying truth.
They were trapped.
And the clock was already ticking.
Somewhere deep within the forests of Kerala, an ancient power had awakened.
And it wanted something from them.
To be continued...
