We arrived at the river to wait for Bridget to return. We weren’t expecting Queen Kimberley of the mer-people to join her. If I didn’t know any better, I wouldn’t even know they were related. The only similarity is they have the same vibrant blue eye color. Matthew has similar features to Kimberley except for the hair color. Kimberley has an ocean blue color, whereas Matthew’s is brown like Bridget’s.
Once we reached the Silver Falls conference room, Lucas placed the silencing spell on the room and Queen Kimberley started asking us questions about who was a hybrid. We asked Bridget a few days ago if she could talk to her about a possible alliance and explain why we were seeking one. Of all the species on the planet, we knew the mer-people would be the first group we should see
