Steven’s POV
I’m sitting down in my room with my second chance mate; the former queen Celeste. She is one hell of a woman; very… um, unique. I have no idea what the moon goddess is doing. We are total opposites and not because she is twenty years my senior. I can only imagine the cougar jokes coming from the pups and that’s before everything else. She wants me to leave my children when they need me the most and go traveling with her. I can’t do that. I told her I wouldn’t reject her because Goddess Selene had paired me with her for a reason, but I wouldn’t stay if the kids didn’t accept her. She is not giving me any reason to tell me they would.
