25 Patrick When I left the gym, the sky was already dark. I texted Morgan to let her know I was leaving. It wasn’t strange that I hadn’t heard from her since lunch. I doubted she’d actually eaten lunch when she texted me. She didn’t normally get out of work for another hour or two, if I was that lucky. So, I had some time to kill. I was glad that I’d taken a shower at the gym, but, f**k, I was already feeling drained. I wanted a beer and some comfort food before passing out.
