“You want me to do what?” I could hear the disbelief in her voice, see it on every other one of her features, and I started to wonder whether or not I had made a mistake by making this suggestion. Maybe I had crossed a line that I didn’t know about, but hopefully it was nothing more than pure shock. I didn’t know how I would feel if she turned me down, because I hadn’t prepared for that—it wasn’t everyday that someone was offered a job, which was why I was hoping that she would say yes. Up until a few moments ago, it had been the only outcome that had been possible to me.                 “I don’t want you to do anything really… But I’m offering you a permanent job, if you want it.”                 “It’s your café, Dilara. If you didn’t want to do anything, then you wouldn’t have.”
