Chapter Fifteen
AgendasConcealing her torment to the best of her ability Taya wished for the obscurity of unconsciousness. Her body spasmed in a pain that seemed to radiate from the places she felt the pressure of contact from the restraints. She had regained her awareness suddenly and, seeing a glistening pool below her, had thought herself to be falling. Then the agony had started. It seemed to lessen slightly over time before unconsciousness would once again claim her. But her body was tolerating the pain for longer periods before it would grant her release.
