Hidden Whispers

I made my way back to the clan grounds without experiencing any sort of problem. It was a rather long day, and while I would really love to log out and spend some time with Diamante, I knew there was no reason to do so. I should just focus on getting stronger for now, Diamante would log into the game soon enough, and then we’ll have all the time in the world to talk, but tomorrow my real journey to power within this world begins. And first things first, I have to find a way to clear my parents name, this amount of prejudice is just ridiculous. There was no clear path for me to take, all I could do for now is raise my reputation with the village and try and help my clan regain it’s lost glory. That’s the goal I’m going to try to focus on for the moment, however it’s impossible for me not to feel angry at the people who put my parents through this hell, so in retrospect, I’m also going to plot my revenge. But revenge or not, that can be left for tomorrow, today I’m just going to sleep and hope tomorrow gives ne something better than what I just received today, it shouldn’t be too bad anyway. I side my way back to the clan, by the time I got there the sun was already close to setting, but be that as it may it was a welcome development. As Arashi had said, and apartment of sorts had been prepared for me, if you would consider the entire top floor of the form I cleaned an apartment, then it works just fine. I didn’t know who did it, but most of the walls had been knocked down and the room combined restructured to make way for a living room, a training room that’s quite large, a kitchen, a bath, a bedroom and all secret access to the roof itself. It was cozy and it was comfortable, and at the moment it was home. I got on top of the bed and in mere seconds, my eyes were closed as exhaustion took the reins and drove my body to the realm of Morpheus, hopefully tomorrow brings a better scenario to this new life of mine. >>>> SOMEWHERE ON EARTH “Up till now he hasn’t been located? Do you reckon he’s dead or perhaps hiding?” a deep baritone voice called out as in a room of darkness. The sound of his breathing was enough time make the polished mahogany round table that sparsely illuminated vibrate. But be that as it may be was not the only one here. “Mensah is many things, but a coward is not one of them. We’ve confirmed that he’s not dead, our informant Within the Kiryū clan has told us as much, his wife Kemisola is in a coma, one that’s she’s constantly drifting in and out of to survive. Just like her husband they have both invariably become a part of that world, we’ve weakened them severely so there’s no way they can affect any of our plans.” Another voice with a deep baritone spoke, but this time with an accent that was rather thick and heavy and synonymous to eastern Europeans. “That’s where you’re wrong Olaf! No matter how you look at it they have an advantage in the fact that they now belong to this world. How they did it is still a mystery, but this husband and wife can never ever return back to earth, their consciousness is no longer digitized, they have full bodies, souls and power in an entirely new world that people think is just a game. They have more knowledge, and they have a stable force on ground that they can rely on and even grow. And worst of all we have no idea where Mensah is, if the man is dead then a confirmation would set each and every one of us at ease, however! There’s nothing like that and Kemisola is still alive! That’s too many loose ends and if we don’t wrap it up fast, it could come back to bite us in the ass. Especially if they discover a way to send evidence back into the real world, we all would be backed into a corner if not out rightly destroyed!” “Well they have a son don’t they?” a new voice spoke up, this one female but somewhat aged. “We can’t touch that boy, he’s married to the first daughter of the Alvarez cartel. That’s just as much power as each of us and resources to put a bullet in each of our heads should we f**k with the next head of the most notorious crime family on earth. And we can’t ask for help from their rivals as a war between them and their rivals would also out us in the cross hairs. And we can’t not act, this is a threat we have to deal with!” the first voice with a deep baritone spoke up. “Then we deal with what’s in front of us first. We have no idea where Mensah is, if he’s alive or dead, or growing stronger somewhere and plotting our downfall. And we can’t use his son to hold them hostage because he’s now f*****g the next head of the Alvarez cartel. So we deal with what we do have access to and go on from there, have our informant stir things up within the Kiryū clan. Completely destabilize their power and then finally have that witchy woman Kemisola killed once and for all! The longer she’s alive the more unrest I feel. You’re all focusing on Mensah, and forgetting the fact that Mensah is just a gun! The finger pulling the trigger and the hand aiming it is his own wife. She’s a million times more dangerous than that man, and her dead might actually put all this to an end once and for all. So I say we snuff out her candle and let the rest handle itself.” A new and final voice spoke up, this one infinitely younger than the others, also a female, with enough animosity and poison in her voice to make everyone else around the table shudder in fear. “Very well then, I guess we’re all in agreement! Kemisola dies within the week, that concludes this meeting. You all have a good day.”
