AZIEL'S POV
“He touched you, didn't he?” I asked her. She turned her face away from me as she sat up straight from her lying position. She was avoiding my eyes. I moved close to her and cupped her cheeks tenderly even though I was raging inside. I knew I needed to hold it together for her.
Her eyes were getting filled and that was the confirmation I needed. My stomach dropped and my heart broke in a million pieces. I pulled her to my chest and held her tightly.
“I am so sorry. I failed to protect you.” I said, my voice choking with tears. Her arms tightened around me and she sobbed painfully in my chest. I held her as though I wanted to absorb her pain. When I get my hands on Bruce Anderson I am going to kill him. I will end his life in cold blood for what he did.
