AZIEL'S POV
The bright morning sun shone into my eyes from the window causing my head to hurt. I groaned and the pain attacked my head. I immediately felt a hand on mine and I looked up to find green glassy eyes staring down at me.
“Hazel,” I whispered.
“You're awake. I was so worried about you.” She spoke through her tear-choked voice.
I pulled her close to me and wrapped her in a hug with my one good arm. I tried to raise the other one and discovered that it was broken.
“I'm so happy to have you here, I missed you so much.”
“I thought I had lost you.” She said sobbing harder into my chest.
“You could never lose me. I am here and I am doing fine, okay?”
She pulled away from me and she had a smile on her face. She placed her hand on my cheek and moved to place her forehead on mine.
