When I got to my room, I was still fuming. I knew that Hazel had every right to question me but I couldn’t explain anything that was happening to her. I needed time to know exactly what was going on before I told anyone anything about what was going on.
I was about to get into the shower when my phone rang. I checked to see the caller ID. A few weeks back, I would have answered the call without thinking twice, but now, I had to be careful.
