HAZEL’S POV I turned to look at the two of them. Carla’s statement contradicted Josephine’s statement that nothing had ever happened between the two of them. I didn’t want to believe it, but when Aziel turned to look at me, I could see the guilt written all over his face and I felt sick to my stomach. “I think it is time for you to leave,” Aziel said, his voice filled with anger. Carla looked confused. Aziel got up and showed Carla to the door, while I cleared the table. I was trying so hard to hold back the tears that threatened to spill.
