HAZEL’S POV
The memory of Aziel holding me in his arms and pressing a kiss to my forehead in a hospital flashed into my mind for a quick second, but it was there. I took a step back from him and my eyes widened.
“What’s wrong?” Aziel asked, his face pulled into a look of concern.
“I just remembered something,” I said, my voice shaking. It wasn’t from fear, it was just more from how quickly the memory had attacked me.
Aziel’s face lit up. “What did you remember?”
“We were in a hospital and you were holding me and kissing my forehead.”
“That was from when I was in the plane crash.”
“You were in a plane crash?” I asked.
“Yes, I was.” He sounded very excited now and I relaxed.
