HAZEL’S POV
I was still seething with anger long after that woman had left, but I felt better since Aziel didn’t leave with her and even better because he had fired her. I had not felt this amount of anger in a very long time and I couldn’t control it.
“That was the best thing I have seen since I came to work at this house,” Josephine spoke with so much excitement in her voice.
We were the only ones in the kitchen as Martha had left to go grocery shopping with Thomas. I rolled my eyes at her playfully, knowing I somehow shared in her excitement. I didn’t regret anything that happened one bit.
“That girl needed a reality check and I am glad you gave her one. I am even happier that the boss fired her. The way he looked at you when you spoke was so hot!”
