Hazel and I got to the house together. We had created a story that she had fallen asleep at her friend’s place and I had seen her walking back to the house and offered her a ride since we were both coming the same way.
I could not wait for when we would be able to do whatever we wanted and not have to lie to cover it up. That was another reason why I resented Christian, he was making it extremely hard for me to be with Hazel the way I wanted to be with her. I wanted to be able to tell the whole world she was mine and belonged to only me.
