HAZEL’S POV I am startled when I feel somebody grab me, I look up to find Aziel looking at me with a concerned look on his face and what looks to be guilt. He probably thinks I am still crying because of our encounter. He looks like he wants to say something but he just stares at me and I stare back. I am not angry at him, he had every right to behave the way he did. I was wrong. I wanted to tell him that but the words refused to come out. “I am sorry for the way I spoke to you.” He said, which surprised me, I was the one who had offended him and he was apologising. He continued to say, “I didn’t mean to make you cry, I was just upset.” His voice was filled with guilt. “I am the one who should be sorry, I shouldn’t have gone through your book,” I said in between my sobs.
