Chapter Twenty

Kai p.o.v

"Mmm damn Kai," Beauty moaned.

I kept feeding her some of my famous red velvet cake, got her hooked already.

"I'm so glad you know how to cook," She said smiling.

I pecked her lips.

"You ready for next week?" I asked.

Beauty rolled her eyes.

"I always hated birthdays," She said.

"Well this year it's going to be different because ya boy go go all out for his baby," I said holding her by her waist .

"Aww you treat me so good," She said wrapping her arms around my neck.

Beauty told me that she always hated when her birthday was coming up because people usually forget or something bad happens. And of course I gotta treat her right. What man won't treat his girl right?

"So you know I miss what's mines right?" I asked.

She blushed and nodded her head biting her lip. Me and Beauty haven't f****d in a long time and when I mean a long time I mean a long time.

"Maybe on my birthday," She said.

"Ooh birthday s*x," I sung wiggling my eyebrows.

"Hush up boy," She said playfully pushing me.

"Let me go check on the kids," I said.

"Okay," She said.

She sat at the island and I went upstairs. I heard giggling coming from the twins room, I know damn well these little girls ain't up. I busted in they room and yelled boo. They screamed and clutched they chest when they realized it was me.

"Daddy!" McKenna whined.

"Girl hush up. Why y'all up so late?" I asked.

"We were planning our wedding," Aubree said.

They started giggling like they was talking in code or somethin'.

"What wedding?" I asked getting pissed.

Not one of my damn daughter's should have a boyfriend until I die. So this damn "wedding" betta' be a damn dream.

"At daycare daddy, we have boyfriends," McKenna said all proud and s**t.

Oh hell naw. I know damn well these two little girls do not have no damn boyfriends, they shouldn't even have boys as they friends in the first place.

"You ain't go have no boyfriend McKenna and the same goes for you Aubree," I said sternly.

"But daddy!" Aubree whined.

We heard a scream and some glass break.

"Y'all stay up here," I said.

I grabbed my gun and walked downstairs and seen glass on the floor.

"Beauty!" I yelled.

There was nothing.

"Beauty!" I yelled.

There was nothing. I looked around and seen nobody, I came across a note on the counter.

Dear Kai,

It's Connie, since you didn't give me what I wanted I took this b***h your "in love" with. You're not supposed to be with her you're supposed to be with me. I know you loved Beauty before you even met at that damn party. You had your eye on her for a long time, ever since she had tutored you for calculus. But she couldn't remember because she slipped in a coma which caused triggered her bipolar. So if you want her alive, just have my baby.

I read the note one more time then threw it away. I cleaned up the glass and seen that McKenna and Aubree was sleep. Alexia was sleep too. I took care of my hygiene for the night and got in my bed.

What all Connie said was true. When Beauty was 13 she was about to be 14 she got in a car accident, which caused her memory loss, but she didn't lose her smartness. Yea I was two years older than Beauty, but I loved her more than anything in the world as kids. Then they said she came back to Atlanta after college and that's when I seen her at the party. Still surprised she f****d me but I was glad because we had the kids.

But they just started a war.

Kali p.o.v

"Kali this is Mickey," Blue said.

She looked dead on him so I knew my next question was already answered.

"She's yours isn't she?" I asked.

"Yea," He mumbled.

"When did you have her?" I asked.

"Some time ago," He said.

"Really?! I was gone for one year and you do this s**t to me Blue!" I yelled.

He took that little girl to another room then came back to the bedroom. I threw a vase at him but he ducked.

"What the hell is yo problem Kali?!" He asked yelling.

"You are! I did everything for you! I took care of you when you were in the hospital! I spent my whole damn college tuition on your medical bills! I was there through everything! I never left your side! I had your child! You took my damn virginity because I believed that you loved me! I took that damn bullet for you because I loved you Blue! All you had to do was stay faithful for a year," I said.

"I know Kali and I'm sorry I was at this party and I was drunk," He said.

"You should've never been at a party when we have a three month old son at home!" I yelled.

"I was at the party cuz I was guilty and depressed! You should've never took that damn bullet Kali! It was for me!" He yelled.

I looked at him shaking my head.

"Leave me alone," I said.

I was about to walk out of the room but Blue pulled me back and embraced me in a hug.

"I'm sorry Kali. You know I love you, you and Amir are my life. Please Kali," He pleaded.

"I'm sorry Benjamin," I said.
