Chapter Twenty-Two

Beauty p.o.v

I sat in the chair, sad and confused. Last night was a blur to me. Two dark figures stood in front of me and was whispering to each other. They had me tied up to some chair, I was looking down.  Kai is going to save you Beauty. My conscience told me. One of them came and pulled my chin up and my eyes came in contact with some almond color eyes.

"Freddy?" I said.

The last time I seen Freddy he was in a hospital bed suffering from a disease.

"Wassup ma," He said and winked.

Then some random man came and stood behind Freddy and smiled at me. So my eyes playing tricks on me because I swore Freddy was in a hospital bed on the verge of death.

"What the hell," I whispered.

The guy shook his head while chuckling.

"You gotta tell her man," the stranger said.

"Nah, not yet Ryan, she doesn't need to know yet," Freddy said. "Anyways how yo relationship with Kai been?" Freddy asked.

"Why do you wanna know?" I asked with much attitude.

"Oooh fierce," The stranger said snapping his fingers.

I rolled my eyes. Freddy gave him a look he left the room with a smirk on his face.

"What the hell is going on Freddy?" I asked

Freddy put his fingers over my lips. He hovered over me and started kissing my neck.

"Freddy stop," I pleaded.

I'm so damn confused with Freddy at this point. How you go from suffering to healed. Then from gay to straight just like that.

"Why?" He asked.

He started back at kissing my neck.

"Because your my best friend and your gay," I said.

"I'm not gay first of all, second of all I don't have HIV, third of all I been telling you lies ever since you recovered from that car accident," He said.

When I was thirteen, a week before my birthday, my mama got in a car and ran me over.

"Why didn't you tell me the damn truth Freddy!" I yelled.

"Because!" He yelled back

I heard gunshots. Freddy looked at me and went to lock the door, but my knight in shining armor came and busted the door open. Freddy quickly came over to me and pointed a gun at my head.

"Let her go!" Kai yelled.

Freddy was about to pull the trigger but three bullets went flying to his head. I sighed relieved, Kai came over to me and untied me. He brought me into a hug and I immediately started crying in his arms.

"Shh it's okay baby," He whispered in my ear.

I just kept crying. It felt good to be in his arms.
