We managed to eat dinner. We neglected to close the blinds. Moonlight starts filtering inside. Sam exclaims, “Crap!”
“Before you go insane, I guess we could get the run out of the way,” I suggest.
Steven asks worriedly, “Um, guys, why can't I control my shift?”
He's in the process of shifting. I ask, “Sam, what's wrong?”
Sam says, “Nothing, it's his first. It's normal for some to lose control at the start of their first Haze.”
“Some or all?” I ask.
Sam looks at me, “Usually all, but you don't seem to have an issue.”
Vincent suggests, “Maybe she Hazed before but didn't shift.”
Sam shrugs, “Possibly, or her not being full wolf has something to do with it, or she's not a wolf at all. I was onto something earlier.”
