My eyebrow shoots up, “How the hell do I sound like Dracula?”
“Wait, you have a brother and he's Dracula?” Rick inquires.
Vincent explains, “My sire made another, there's no human connection. Yes he's Vlad Tempes Dracul, who you know as Dracula, and once I receive correspondence, Eva will accompany me to Romania. That is why she needs to work remotely.”
“Are there any truths to the legends?” Rick asks.
“Some. He is a ruthless arrogant asshole who thinks he can charm any woman and many men,” Vincent says.
I laugh, “And I intend to show him a woman who won't back down to get the answers I need.”
