Ronan POV The trail wound further and further southwest, closer to the boundaries of the Yosemite pack. It made me nervous. My pack couldn’t have another run-in with them; not when relations were as strained as they were. Though I wouldn’t scoff at a reason to rip out Travis’s throat. I raced ahead of Xavier, wanting a chance to stretch my legs and push my body. There was something simple about running hard that was cathartic and soothing.
