Kade
A hand grasping his left shoulder, shaking him gently, caused Kade to startle awake from a slumber that he hadn’t realised he had taken. His neck felt sore and stiff as he stretched his shoulders and arms. Looking to his left, he saw that it was Jace shaking him awake.
“Jace?!” he mumbled, rubbing sleep out of his eyes.
“It seems that we all dozed off after eating.” Jace commented, smiling softly.
Gazing around the table, they still sat at, he noticed the other crew members and Professor Vince asleep in their chairs.
“We are going to be heading back to the ship soon, so help me wake up the others.” Jace requested.
Nodding, Kade rose from his seat and headed around the table, waking everyone up as Jace worked his way around the other side. Eve
