Jace and Susan were standing waiting for everyone at the airlock. They had popped to Jace’s quarters after the meeting so that he could pick up his sidearm, which was now holstered on his hip. On arriving at the airlock, Jace had given Susan a firearm from the weapons locker and shown her how to use it. He had taken a lot of pleasure strapping a holster onto Susan’s leg and had earnt a slap round the top of his head for what Susan had called ‘inappropriate behaviour in public’.
