Michelle was enjoying translating for Doctor Wallis and Lucille, it was nice to be off the ship and doing something useful. She wouldn’t have had the courage to do this if it wasn’t for Travail’s support. She had grown close to Travail ever since that day in the cargo hold when he had managed to get her to eat and start taking care of herself again.
She looked forward to his visits and their entertaining conversations. She had even started to have romantic feelings towards him.
