After Abel had left with Kade to get some more fruit to take with them, Daniel noticed Trish leaving the room with Corporal Zeus, their hands entwined as she led him out and up the stairs. Daniel felt a melancholy spread over him, he wanted to talk to Trish, to apologise for his actions and try to make things up to her. But he can’t do that if she keeps avoiding him.
The captain’s voice brought him out of his thoughts and back to the reality around him. Kade and Abel had returned with backpacks bulging with fruit and the captain was instructing everyone to get ready to leave so they could return to their ship.
Daniel’s head snapped up when the captain asked, “Where are Corporal Zeus and Trish?”
“They left together a while ago. Perhaps they missed each other too
