After the Aries landed, Jace called Theo up to the bridge to take over command so that the brothers could go be with Susan and Philippa and see what their plan to deal with the armed troops surrounding the ship was.
When Kade heard their plan, he was beside himself with worry. What if the soldiers shot first and asked questions later? The life of his bondmate and unborn child could be at risk.
After getting a nod of assent from Jace, Kade had reluctantly let Philippa go. “Open the cargo hold bay doors.” he ordered and watched as Susan led Philippa to the opening.
When the bay doors had fully opened, the women raised their hands above their heads and calmly exited the ship.
