Faye Huddling into Kaye as they left the room, Faye eyed the senator and his soldiers fearfully. Although they had smiled at the two women kindly, she would never again trust a man who smiled kindly. The president had smiled kindly at her before he tormented her for months. Things had started out quite pleasantly and pleasurably in the president’s chambers, but then he had started mixing pleasure with pain until the pain outweighed the pleasure. Each time he used a new toy, he would leave it out on display but out of her reach, to torment her. And when she didn’t please him enough anymore, he threw her to the wolves, who were just as vicious. She would never trust another man ever again. “Where are you taking us?” Kaye asked.
