The Truth Revealed

I wake up to my phone buzzing with texts. I checked the time and the name of who was texting me. It's 7:30 in the morning and Kaya is already blowing up my phone. I respond back and get up to shower and change into an off the shoulder black ombre sweater dress that exposed my pink tank top. I'm up now might as well see whose up, or work out a little.

I walked downstairs into the training room to hear grunting the from further inside the room. As I enter I see a shirtless blond punching a black punching bag. Keith. Keith's back was litered with scars of diffrent shapes and sizes, his back flexed as he stretched, "Are you just going to stand there and be a creep or show yourself shrimp?"

"I'm not being a creep if you knew I was here, but youre just the person I wanted to talk to anyway."

Keith looked back with a raised eyebrow, "If you want to talk to me, you have to spar with me." I raise an eyebrow back at him.

"Do you really want to challege me? Cuz once I get challenged, I will rise to the occasion." Keith laughed as I shrugged. You won't be laughing when I floor you. I take off my dress leaving me in my pink tank top and my black shorts, "Alright blonde let's do this." I say after braiding my hair.

We circle each other slowly, then finally Keith lunged at me, I slid underneath him, kicking his shin he stumbled forward I got up and ran forward wrapping my leg around his neck and flipped him down. Keith untangled himself and pinned me to the ground, so my face was to the mat. He picks me up, holding my neck and I smile using his weight against him making him let me go and allowing me to roll away.

"You're good shrimp, i'll give you that." He said as he dodged my kick to his face.

"Thanks, now since I'm sparring with you answer this: Why were you upset last night?"

"You and your sister don't know how to mind your own business do you?" Keith asked tripping me and making me fall on my ass once again. He pinned my hands to the ground with his left hand, while his right was on the mat below me.

"What does my sister have to do with it?"

"She just said something."

"Like?" I ask as he got closer to me.

“Do you want to really know?” Keith asked. I roll my eyes as he let me go, “Don't worry shrimp. It's nothing for you to worry about.” He picked me up and carried me upstairs, “Shrimp why are you up so early anyway?”

“Kayanna was blowing up my phone. I wasn't going back to sleep any way so I decided to see who was up.” I replied as he put me down, “We made plans for Destiny to finally meet Kaya.” I sit in the seat and spin around.

“Want bagels? They're special.”

“Mysterious, but interesting, I'll take one, thank you.” Keith nodded and reached into a secret cabinet and dug a bag out.

“You can't tell anyone about this. This is one of my secret snack spots.” I rapidly nod, “If any of my snacks or food go missing I'm strangling you.”

“Jokes on you I like being choked.” I stick my tongue out.

“I didn't need to imagine that. Great. I know to stay far away from your neck.” Keith joked handing me the mysterious bagel. My phone vibrated on the table and it was Destiny asking for us to come now if we wanted to see Rosie. He'll yeah!

“Sorry, Keith I gotta run. I have to pick Kaya.”

“With what car?!” he yelled as I ran around to get my stuff and text Kaya. I run out and open my car.

“My car! I'll see you later babes!” I enter my car and drive to Kayanna’s home.

Kaya has a large house, and lives in one part of the house while renting out the other rooms. It's neat and it's cheap.

Kaya runs out fixing her black long-sleeved one-piece with dark blue jeans, “I'm all set.” I never realized that Kaya and Destiny were so close to each other, just a few streets away from one another.

“She lives really close to me.”

“I was thinking the same thing.” I pulled the spare key from the hidden compartment underneath her mailbox.

“I'm stealing that idea from her,” Kaya says walking in.

“It's a cool idea. Destiny? Where are you? Destiny?” I call out for her. I'm surprised Rosie hasn't popped up yet.

“Over here, Bella!” A voice called from the living room, walking further I see her sprawled out across the couch.

“Wheres Rosie?”

“I sent her to Rowan's house to distract everyone from realizing why you two were actually here.”

“Really? Why are we actually here then?” Kaya asked crossing her arms.

“Well, Kayanna you want to know about the Double Dragons. Isn't that what you guys want to know about?”

Keith's POV

The doorbell rung so I thought it was Belladonna coming back because she might've forgotten something, I opened the door and see Destiny and Rosie.

“I thought you and Bella we're meeting today.”

“We are. I'd figure you guys would to see your niece, but if you don't want to spend time...”

“I WANT MY NIECE!” Rowan yelled and Destiny smiled.

“Ok, here you go. Have fun!” Destiny drops some bags into my arms and Rosie ran into the house. Destiny pulled the door in as she left and Rosie came back to climb my leg. Great.

“How’d you know we wanted to know about the Double Dragons?” Kaya asked from her spot on the couch.

“When we had dinner with my family Bella got in the middle of an argument between my Father and Rowan, my dad might've asked if Bella knew about the Double Dragons, which she didn't and we both know she gets curious.” Destiny looked at Kaya and then they both looked at me.

“Yeah ok, I get nosey, but who are they?”

“So you were right about Rowan and his friends are the Double Dragons, but they aren't a business per se.”

“So if they aren't a company like they've been telling us. What are they?”

“A gang, I'm sorry to say, but the Double Dragons are the most feared.”

“And I've been living with them, with my Mother’s knowledge.” I let out a humorless laugh.

“If they're the most feared gang, would there a couple of idiots that would try and eliminate that threat?” Kayanna asked.

“Sure, it's happened once or twice, people plan but don't do s**t. What are you getting at?”

“Our house. That was on purpose. Think about it, it was said the fire started in the kitchen and someone lit the roof on fire from a distance. There must’ve been someone on the inside.”

“Everyone was outside though.”

“No, Akira went inside when we began talking about Rowan.”

“Akira would never! Sure he was hurt, but he wouldn't betray my father, Rowan maybe, but not my Dad.” Destiny said shaking her head.

“Destiny, think about it, he left and when did the fire start? When he left! He's working for someone that's why he's missing, he choose his side.”

“That makes a lot of sense,” Destiny mumbled.

“See!”

“Not you Bella, but yes you, but I'm talking about something else. I heard Rowan and my Dad talking yesterday when I went to go see him.”

“What we're they talking about?” Kaya asked pacing, “Know what it doesn't matter. Rowan probably knows someone betrayed him or someone is targeting him, he just doesn't know-”

“Who.” the three of us concluded.

“He needs to know,” I said.

“You can't just walk into his room and say I know who the Double Dragons are and I know who betrayed you.”

“Thats exactly what I'm gonna do and say!” I say jumping up.

“Bella!” Destiny called.

“Belladonna Indigo Shade! s**t we have to go after her!” I was out the door and in my car racing back to the place I've been calling home for the last five months.

Kayanna’s POV

“Bella!” Destiny called.

“Belladonna Indigo Shade! s**t we have to go after her!” I called out, but she was out the door and racing down the street.

“Kayanna catch! Come on!” This is exactly like the time we got into an argument about- NOT THE TIME!

“I don't know where they live. You're gonna have to guide me.” I said getting into the driver's side.

“I'll do one better so we get there faster.” I nod starting the car.

I reach the house. No sight of Kayanna and Destiny. I don't got keys so I run to the back and see Trent.

“Wheres Rowan?”

“In his office with Keith, why?”

“Thanks!”

“Bella wait!” Trent called out as I ran inside. He was following me which caught the attention of Beatrix.

“Bella take a walk with me.”

“But- but Bea, ” she put a finger to her lips and I shut up, and walked back the stairs.

“Destiny?”

“Destiny.” Motherfucking b***h. I pout as we walked outside.

“Were you trying to die, cause that's exactly what it seemed like. Like you wanted to die. Belladonna Indigo Shade! What the f**k were you thinking?!” this is gonna last till I'm 30 and I'm 23 now. That's too loooong!

“He wouldn't have killed me.” I rolled my eyes and she held her hands like she was going to strangle me.

“Did you forget that he's a GANG LEADER?! AND EVERYONE IN THAT HOUSE COULD KILL YOU IN A HEARTBEAT?!, ” She paused and looked at Bea, “Sorry.”, Bea waved it off, “Anyways. AS I WAS SAYING THEY WOULDVE KILLED YOU.”

“If I were to jump in, ” Bea stepped up slightly. We nod and she continues, “Rowan may be the most feared leader, be he doesn't hurt innocents, Rowan can be a hardass don't get me wrong, but he's also kind. He wouldn't have hurt Bella, ” I stick my tongue out, “But rushing in wasn't smart either, ” Kaya stuck out her tongue.

“What do you suggest I do?” I ask crossing my arms over my chest.

“Tell me what you know and suspect and I'll tell him and the others during our meetings.”

“Wouldnt he get suspicious of where you got your information?” Kaya asked.

“I'll take my chances, but telling Rowan you know will be up to you.” Bea said.

“I figured. I'm shocked, but he probably didn't say to keep me safe.”

“That and if you joined you would have to join the Double Dragons, when you're ready. We knew what we were signing up for when we created this gang. You don't.” I nod in understanding.

“Come on, we caused a ruckus and then disappeared. The others will question it. Thanks for bringing her home Kayanna and Destiny. I'll see you guys soon!” Bea said as we walked hand in hand with each other back to the house as Destiny and Kaya left in Destiny's car.

“Are you always this impulsive?”

“Oh, hell yea.” I say with a grin and Bea shook her head as we walked back.

Once we get inside we walk into madness. Keith was still shirtless, Trent had mud all over his person, Kay had something sticky on him with feathers all over him, Joey had marker all over her face, and Ayana had holes in her shirt. The house was a mess, mud, flour, water, and paint was everywhere. It decorated the walls, kitchen floors, and it was a s**t show.

“What happened?” Bea asked gently. All hell broke loose, everyone was talking or shouting over each other till they all yelled.

“WE LOST ROSIE!” Oh f**k I need a drink.

“She pulled some Home Alone s**t and she disappeared.”

“When we do find her I'll be f****d. ILL NEVER SEE MY NIECE AGAIN!”

“Calm down, she left with her Mom. She ran out and left with her Mom.” Bea said which was true. I didn't know she left this mess.

“Yea we saw her leaving, we didn't know you guys thought she left. I might've let her watch Home Alone too much.” I mumbled the last part, but they still heard me and glared at him.

“We’re tossing you in the lake, both of you.” What?

“We didn't do anything!” We ran as the others chased us.
