Sister Date

We get in the car and chill for a minute, “Are you hungry?“I asked and I got my answer when Kayanna’s stomach rumbled loudly. “I guess so. What are we getting?” “There’s the option of brunch or do you want actual lunch?” I ask waiting for her response. “How bout a snack or fast food and get our nails and feet done, then we can grab dinner and go home,” Kayanna suggested. “Alright. Five Guys?” “Duhh!” I couldn’t help but slightly laugh. That is something that will never change my sister and me. That’s been our spot and probably will always be one of our go-to spots. We go and order our usuals as Kaya drove us to the nail salon. “Bro Kaya if you learn how to do nails you would be a God. You already know how to do hair and make-up, just learn how to do nails.” “I can do nails. I just like it better when I go to the nail salon, especially when I get my feet done,” I look at my sister and stifle a laugh, “You just don’t wanna do all that work on your feet, do you?” “Shut up and let’s go inside asshole.” She hopped out of her car before I could retort and I started laughing as I got out of the car. “You know I’m joking Kaya, relaxxxx,” I say still laughing as we enter the nail salon. There was barely anyone in the salon, it was small, but cute and tidy. The ceiling design reminded me of a greenhouse window roof, there were flower shaped lamps hanging from the ceiling hung around, there were plants and flowers around the shop (making it smell wonderful), and see several types of chairs in different stations. “Hello, Ladies! How can I help today?” Kaya slightly stepped forward. “Hi, can my sister and I get a Mani and Pedi set, excuse me,” Kaya paused and turned to me, “Gel or acrylic?” “Gel” “Gel for both, please.” The woman before us smiled and another woman came up and led me to the leather massage chair beside Kaya after we both picked our colors. Goddess, I love the massage chairs. I sigh as I let myself relax further into the chair, I turn with half-lidded eyes to look and look at Kayanna and she’s in the same state as I am. “This is why I like nail salons, the massage chairs,” Kaya said leaning further back into the chair. “I was thinking the same thing, Kaya,” I say with a tired smile, before slowly drifting off to sleep, but awake enough to feel the scrubbing of my feet. Kaya woke me up when the lady was done with my feet and I stretch before getting up and following her back to her station. I told her the length, shape, and color I wanted and started nodding off once more, but this time I fight it and watch as my nail tech do her work, she asked me if I wanted any designs on my nails and I shook my head smiling at my nails. I love these dark blue coffin nails. I study my nails and smile, thanking, and paying the lady I get up and stretch. Kaya and I walk back to her car, “Lemme see your nails.” We said at the same time. I give her my hand while taking hers she had two silver holographic and had the rest as black medium-long stiletto nails with her ring finger having some little jewels. “Cute it suits you. Extra, but subtle with a hint of danger.” Kaya responded pretending to claw at me like a cat. “I’m surprised you didn’t get a marble set or a watercolored cuz it fits you, but these are cute too,” Kaya said turning over and looking at my dark blue matte gel nails. “So now that we have our dresses, nails, and we know whos on hair and makeup for tomorrow,” she paused and pointed to herself at that while I pointed at her, “so you know what that means?” “Dinner!” “Yep! We need to figure out what we’re eating though.” “I’m down for anything, so you need to figure out what we’re eating,” I say with a grin as I lean my seat back watching Kayanna mumble and talk to herself. Just then my phone started ringing. I didn’t even check the ID before answering. The only people who can call me while my phone’s on do not disturb are my parents and Kayanna. Kayanna’s right beside me so that leaves Mom and Mother. “Hello,” I say with a crappy accent, and Mother couldn’t help but laugh on the other end of the line. “Hey, babes are you guys still out?” “Yes ma’am! Kaya is trying to decide where we should go to eat.” I say snickering at the two middle fingers I received. Those middle fingers hit different when you get your nails done. We just wanted to know. Alright, I want dessert from wherever you go. I love you both! Bye!” “I know the drill Mother. We love you more! Byee!” I say before hanging up. “I know where we’re going.” “Ok, Phineas.” “We’re gonna go to- wait what?” Kaya stopped herself midsentence and asked. “Bruh, you know how Phineas from Phineas and Ferb would be like ‘I know what we’re gonna do today!’ you know sorta like that, but since I had to explain the joke it’s not funny anymore.” I huffed out my explanation and it seemed to click in her mind. “Ohhhhhh. That would’ve been kinda funny if I wasn’t slow. Don’t you dare make a comment Belladonna!” I smiled and bit the inside part of my check, “I didn’t have to say s**t when you said it for me.” I couldn’t contain myself and started laughing and holding my stomach. “Yea yea laugh it up. Fix your seat and I’ll take us to Batch.” My eyes widened and I sat up, “Fatass.” Kaya muttered as she drove off from the parking lot. “You’re lucky you’re driving asshat.” I wanted to punch that stupid smirk off Kayanna’s face as she drove to Batch Gastropub. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We enter the restaurant and we’re led to the bar and sit down next to each other watching whatever that was on the television above as we also looked over the menu in front of us. “Still single?” We both asked at the same time. “Yes,” We laughed and kept talking. We got to catch over our orders. I got Chicken ‘n’ Waffles while Kaya got Crispy Seared Salmon. We were still catching up as I ordered dessert for Mother and myself. I got two Marshmallow Brownie Bars which was a marshmallow-stuffed dark chocolate brownie, Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream, and stout chocolate sauce. We got up to leave when one of the two guys wrapped his arm around Kaya's neck. One guy had light near-white skin, brown eyes, a neck tattoo, and a diamond earring. A black cap was covering his hair and wore a black hoodie with black jeans. The other one had tan skin, long black hair in a ponytail, and some of it covering half his face, turquoise eyes. He wore a white t-shirt with a black hoodie and black sweatpants. "Hello beautiful ladies." the guy with the tattoo on his neck smoothly said with a wink. His friend on the other hand looks like he doesn't want to be here. "What do you want?" Kaya asked pushing his arm off from around her neck. "Well my friend and I overheard you guys talking and we heard that yall were single." Kaya and I looked at each other while rolling our eyes. Let’s see how this plays out. I thought with a small smirk playing at my lips, my smirk widening as Kaya had the same expression. Great minds think alike. “And if we are single what do you two plan to do to change that?” I started out with. The one with the neck tattoo widened his eyes slightly, “Let me have your number and I can show you a world of wonders.” “Are trying to shoot a shot for both of you or just yourself? Cause your friend looks bored out his mind.” Kaya said while looking at her nails and I smiled behind my hand. Tattoo guy looked at his friend and did a hand gesture I couldn’t see, but he sighed and stepped closer to us. “My friend was dared to ask the prettiest girls for their number so he could start getting over his ex.” The guy said in a toneless deep voice. “Blayze!” Tattoo guy whispered yelled at the guy now known as Blayze. “What would you get out of getting our numbers? Possibly playing with us until you felt better? Lead us on till you had enough self-confidence to find someone better looking just for you to break your heart all over again? Trust and believe it’s better not to have our numbers. Bye!” Kayanna ended with a hair toss and turning away. Tattoo guy started tearing up and his face started turning red and he stormed away, Blayze remained as he watched his friend go. “Aren’t you going to go after him?” I asked Blayze. “I’ll check upon him in a second I genuinely want your numbers. I have a girlfriend, but having people like you in my life would be eventful. It’s fine if you don’t want to give me yalls numbers.” Blayze ended with a small shrug. Kayanna shrugged and stuck out her hand, “You seem chill enough.” Blayze gave a small smile to her before giving me a questioning look. “Yea you can have my number too.” Kaya passed me his phone and I added myself to his contacts and handed it back to him. “Thanks for putting up with my friend. Catch ya’ll on the flip side.” Blayze called out as he left to find his friend. “Here you go. Thank you and have a goodnight.” The waitress that was serving us came back with a bag with my desserts. “Thank you. Goodnight!” We say as she walks away. Getting up we go to her car and go back to our house. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We were giggling like morons as we entered the house with all our s**t. I walk into the kitchen and place the dessert into the freezer before running to my room, texting my parents we were home knowing full well they heard our dumbasses coming inside. “Ok, so the party starts at 9:3oish right? So what’s the game plan tomorrow? “We’ll figure that out tomorrow. I’m tired right now, good night kid.” Kaya laughed and left as I crashed onto my bed. Kayanna’s POV After leaving my little sister’s room. I go to my room to change into a black crop top sweater that showed the top part of my cleavage, camo baggy pants, and black combat boots, pulling my hair back into a messy low ponytail I walk to my parent’s room and listen before peeking my head in to see them sleeping soundly. Closing the door once more I sneak away to my garage to get to my other car a matte black 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. I smiled as my baby came to life and I drove out to my next race. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I reach the spot and was instantly cheered as I rolled my window down. I pull to the side and step out and more cheering erupted. I give the crowd a smirk as I walked around seeing new and old faces. “Seems like the crowd loves you,” A smooth voice said from behind me. I turn around and see Beatriz and some hot guy beside her, “Hey Beatriz, I didn’t expect to see you here.” “Well Bella talked so highly of your driving, we had to come out and see what it was like. Seems like you’re a crowd favorite and never lost a race from the beginning. Fifteen years old is such a young age to be involved with street racing.” Beatriz finished off. “You did a whole background check after one exchange earlier today? What kind of company do you work for exactly?” “I told you already it’s sorta a mix of different talents and hobbies that come together to solve problems of bigger companies. Let me introduce my friend Keith Vida. Keith has blond long hair that’s put up in a half up and half down hairdo, two scars near his brown eyebrows, tanned skin, a face tattoo, three silver earrings, a black leather gold spiked choker, and two silver chains. He looked at me from head to toe and nodded in my direction “He doesn’t talk much at first, but the more you get to know him he tends to open up,” Beatriz said fixing her black leather jacket that paired with her black cotton t-shirt and black jeans. She’s clearly changing the subject. Fine, I’ll play their game. “Nice to meet you Keith and nice to see you again Beatriz, but I gotta make some children cry. See you guys after the race.” Beatriz waved me off and Keith just continued to stare me down as I walked back into my car. This was a deathmatch. You could race dirty if you wanted to and boy did I love dirty. A silver 2019 Nissan GT-R and I wolf-whistled. One thing about those cars; they can be massively tuned to produce insane amounts of horsepower. Must be a newcomer, because I've never seen anyone with that car and that excited me. Time to break some little kids' hearts. I smiled wickedly as the girl put her hands down to start. Immediately the silver Nissan is next to me and begins to bump me and I speed up slightly so they miss and go to the left of me cutting off several cars. I take a familiar short cut on a narrow road and see the headlights of the silver Nissan. Whoever's driving is talented, I'll give them that. I end up on the highway with this asshole behind me and I brake making them hit me and pause while I took the opportunity to speed up and head toward the finish line. I was on the lookout for that silver Nissan as I got closer to the finish line. Lo and behold they came up from behind me with dust flaring up as they pulled up beside me, we were neck and neck, but I was faster and crossed the line before they did. "Holy s**t! Kayanna Shade beat Keith Vida!" Keith...Vida?... No f*****g way. I get out of my car and jog over to the silver Nissan and Keith f*****g Vida steps out of the car. "You gave me a run for my money Keith. I thought I was gonna lose there." No, I didn't. "No, you didn't. I see why you get all the hype around here. You aren't afraid to mess up your car." "Cuz I know what my baby can and can't take, but thanks. You got some hype too, how come I've never heard of you till now?" "Motorcycle races are my thing." I nod my head. "I got to get home, but we should race again. It was exhilarating." I walk closer to him and place a kiss at the corner of his mouth, "Night handsome." I say as I get back in my car and drive back home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I park my car looking over the damage that I caused her and made mental notes to fix her up. I sneak back into the house and jump into bed after showering and changing.
