“You did what?” I asked incredulously, looking at the stranger in front of me because this certainly wasn’t the Damian I knew. I know Nigel thinks I’m naïve and innocent but I notice how much he’s been struggling over the last few days. He tries to hide it from me but I know Damian has been trying to make him snap and pick a fight with him.
Last night when he came home he just looked so angry and lost that I couldn’t stand it. I asked Damien to meet up because I had to know what was going on.
