This is it. The real reason why I planned the trip to Ghana, exhaling I took the ring out of my pocket and looked at it once again. It was a simple solitaire diamond on a platinum band. Gold was so over rated, plus platinum was more durable and lasted longer, I wanted something that could be passed down to our children, sort of like the family heirloom.
Even though I was nervous I couldn’t help but smile at the thought of us having children. They would be marvel fans for sure, no DC lover in my house.
Don’t get too excited buddy, she still has to agree.
“She loves you, you love her. That’s all that matters.” Maybe she may say no today but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love you, maybe she’s just not ready.
