Since I was a child, I've struggled with making decisions. It's like I'm incapable of the mental process needed to choose between one option and another. It never mattered whether I was choosing dinner for the night or what degree to study at uni, I face everything with a stubborn indecisiveness. My father had always pandered to this, taking the lead for me and guiding me towards whatever he believed would be most beneficial. When he'd passed, I was lost - not only because I loved him dearly and he was my father, but because he doubled as my life counsellor. I'm lost again now - a compass with no sense of direction.
