Quinn wasn't expecting that.
She stares at me with such surprise when I say I want her on my team that I have to try not to smile. I don't want her to think I'm joking, since I'm not.
I'm completely serious.
When I sat down to review the preparations with Sergeant Adams after Quinn left his office, I was still feeling very uneasy about the idea of her returning to work, and especially to the front lines. The thought of something happening to her, and the thought of Rosie being left without a mother, eats me up inside. Could I simply demand that no women be included in that team?
