As Carter leaves with Erica and her mother, I'm worried about him, of course, but I also believe in him. He's smart, he's determined and he's got Alfric's ring which is hopefully giving him some defense against any tricks the sorceress might try. I saw his hand in his pocket as he left the room so I'm sure he's got it on.
Of course it was hard to watch him touching Erica and calling her his mate, but I know why he was doing it, and to be honest, I'm a bit impressed. He was so convincing that if I didn't know any better, I might have believed it too.
But I do know better, and as he walks out of the room, I have other things on my mind, like what Jacob and the sorceress were just talking about. They were talking about me and about Ethan, and I think Jacob is far more invol
