I had to think fast when Quinn's text came in. I had never seen the palace daycare myself, but I remembered the praise my mom got when she set it up in the first place and I've heard it mentioned a few times since then. People seem to like it.
Drew gives me a curious look as I finish texting Quinn back. “What's going on?”
“Something I need to take care of, but it'll only take a minute,” I tell him. “Do you mind?”
He assures me it's fine so I go out to talk to Simon and make all the arrangements. That means confessing to him the whole situation about my dates and the fact that Quinn knows me as Jeff and not as Carter.
