I'm practically quivering with excitement as I walk into the palace holding Carter's hand. Quivering is not a word I've ever used to describe myself before, but I don't know what other word would do it justice. It's like there's this build-up of energy inside me so strong that it's about to burst through my skin.
It's almost like the feeling I had when I first got my wolf, like something truly life-changing is about to happen.
And speaking of my wolf, Kadee is just as excited as I am, excited about the prospect of spending the night with Carter and excited about what he said in the car.
He wants to take us as a mate! She's almost squealing in glee. She's been so lonely since losing her mate too. His wolf wants it too, I can feel it.
