THE STALKER

THE WORKING SPIRIT

I work in a business firm as a accountant,I have been working there for four years now and their pay is reasonable,so I have no intention of quitting and going out with my certificate once more; even though the work is hell.

Immediately I arrived at the office this morning,the boss called me in only to blast and insult me. Thanks to an error in check balance made by my junior;

" Am sorry sir." I said, lowering my head; I dare not raise up my head in front of the big boss,his look alone can skin me alive.

" You are the senior accountant Jenny,I expected you to do this much by yourself not pass it out to some stupid incompetent juniors!!!!"

He yelled, throwing the papers to my face,I was already shaking.Am supposed to have gotten use to the loud noise coming from him,cos he does it every week,but for four good years I kept on trembling in his presence; it's something I can never get use to in my entire life.

" Get lost! I want corrections not apologizes."

He said with finality and turn his focus on his laptop,I quietly crow away from his office; I hate it there, it's always so hot and very tensed.

I shouldn't be at work today but I came anyways to check on something but instead I got a ton of unexpected works, I took my angry self to the account department and pour out my warth on them; am a bilious woman. I fume at them for complete two hours before giving the papers to my assistant to make corrections. Every week my boss yell at me,I throw out someone from my department.

"Make sure you bring the papers to me first before submitting it to the boss,am I clear here?" I asked,dander written all over my face, I talked for two hours nonstop but I was still not satisfied; I felt like saying more till the day is over but I got more important things to do.

" Yes ma!" They chorused rapidly,even they knew the results of getting me furious; each and everyone of them is going to take part in the punishment. I'm going to cut off ten percent in their salaries and sum it up with the company interest, that's how I have been able to keep my job till this extend.

" And you........." I turn to face the junior that's trying to gain favor from the boss by submitting a work I didn't sign or approved,the thought and sight of him was making me maddened.

" Tomorrow,I want to see your ID and badge on my desk including every personalize office document with you; you can go home."

I said irritatedly,I feel like tearing him apart right now.

He quickly went on his knees, pleading for mercy; but I wasn't the type to listen to what he have to say. I never listen once am infuriated at someone, everyone was going to feel the heat.

" Leave quietly or get disgraced Mr. Miz." I said, frowning my eyes into a thin line.

" I want him out of here and don't forget to include his name in the black list, I wouldn't want any firm facing what we went through."

I stated before walking out of the office,am very cruel and tempestuous whenever it comes to my job,it something I love and do best at.

Everybody stood up and bow till I was out of the office,then the murmuring and haters resumed at my back but I didn't care; some said am not different from the boss that is why he likes me but I didn't care and never once cared.
