I ran out of breath as I tried to chase the van, staring at it hopelessly as it sped up and out of sight.
Crap. What should I do? And why did they kidnap Zachary?
I ran a few blocks to make sure what direction the van went into. But that attempt was only futile because Seattle is too big that they might have gone in one of the hundreds or thousands of directions. But then, I realized Zachary gave me his phone number.
I was about to call him, but stopped on the second thought. If I call him right away, that would give away Zachary's only means of communication. I need to think of other ways to locate him.
