Panic rushes through me as I try to determine whether or not the darkness was randomly possessing Rio and Oscar or if... No. I couldn’t think like that, not after everything Gil did for me.
Shaking off my unease, I continue to move in hopes of shaking off the two that are diligently chasing me.
