I felt Dimitri reach out to me but I pushed him away from me. “Izzie, f**k, why didn’t you tell me?” He growled in anger as he reached out his hands towards me. “Baby, please let me help you.” He spoke softening his voice but I kept pushing him away. “Don’t touch me!” I yelled and he immediately backed away, holding his hands up in surrender. I don’t know why I was pushing him away when it was all my fault, I gave him permission and didn’t stop him when I should have. But in the moment, I just wanted to blame Dimitri. I wanted to hurt him for hurting me. I knew I was being irrational but I didn’t care. I didn’t want him anywhere near me.
