Riley and Jonathan sat in Riley’s living room listening to the fireplace crackle, each with their own cup of coffee in hand. The sun had begun to set while they were leaving the park, and now the soft breeze that had blown earlier started to pick up the cool air from a northern front. It was official, winter was here to stay. They were sitting across from each other, Riley in his favorite recliner and Jonathan sitting on the couch. They stared at the flames and sipped their coffee. Drinking coffee seemed to come just as naturally to Jonathan as fighting off demons and flying from cloud to cloud just to enjoy the view.
