Heavy rain fell upon the ground as people scurried about. The six souls raced frantically to see if they could take over the human body of a nonbeliever. The idea was to find a human walking alone so they wouldn’t be noticed. One by one, the six loomed over the unaware pedestrians, scattering this way and that, for they knew the rules. Sixty seconds, just sixty seconds is all they had. If they failed at overtaking a nonbeliever, then Hell would drag them back. It was the only way Lucifer could keep the damned from walking around freely.
