On the way to hospital , Jennifer constantly thinks what if Daniel dies, what will happen then?I's it beacuse of me ?

No , No it's not because of me .How can

I?? it's just an accident .I haven't caused

it .But Jack?He called me to inform?How did he know about this?And why he said me about last night and something like results???Wait. Am I thinking right??

Has Jack caused this ? Because last night I spoke against him and in favour of Daniel?

Meanwhile driver tells Jennifer that she has arrived . Jennifer goes into the hospital .She gets information about Daniel from reception and goes to his doctor.Now there are so many questions that give birth in her mind .Is he alive? Is he alright? What if it will be a severe injury like fractured leg or something. Or What if something again will happen to his face?like that scar or injury that made him more ugly?What will I do then?No .No No.It can't happen . I shouldn't think that.Lets gather courage and see what actually has happen.She knocks the door.

Doctor:Yes,come in .

Jennifer enters the room.

Jennifer:Hello Doctor! I am ..

Doctor: Mrs.Daniel.

Jennifer gets surprised .

Jennifer:ah..yes I am Mrs..I am Jennifer.

Doctor:Have a seat please?

Jennifer tries to read doctors expression to take hint about Daniel's condition.

Doctor:There is not need to worry. You should thank God because it's a minor injury although the accident was very severe. The car driver is in ICU.Anyways,I have put a plaster on Daniel's right hand .It will take time to heal .He can't use his right hand now so you have to take care of this matter .I have to take some of his tests so he will be here tonight.

Jennifer: ahh.okay. That driver will he be alright?

Doctor:Can't say anything now.He is on ventilator.Truck has damaged the car very badly .I guess truck was coming from front that's why driver is in critical condition now.Luckily your husband was on the opposite left so he is alive.

Jennifer:What about truck driver?Has he caught?

Doctor: No,not now but police will find it soon.

Jennifer:Okay thankyou for giving your precious time.Doctor.

Doctor:No problem.You can see Daniel.

I guess he will be waiting for you.

Jennifer:Yes sure.

Jennifer feels hesitant to go to Daniel's room.But accidentally nurse opens the door of room.Therefore Daniel sees Jennifer. Jennifer enters the room because she is left behind with no option.

Jennifer:How..how are you ?

Daniel :Why are you not looking at me?Is there..

Jennifer: No it's not like that.

Daniel:I have to see mirror.

Jennifer:You are thinking wrong.Nothing has happened to your face.

Daniel: Oh .. sorry I have forget you didn't saw in my eyes even before this.

Jennifer gets speechless.

Daniel:I think so you should go home now. I am fine.I will be discharged tomorrow.

Jennifer: Can't I stay here ?

Daniel:There is no need to stay here.

What will you do?By the way who told you about me?How did you know that I am here?

Jennifer: It doesn't matter.I will be here tonight.

Daniel: Go home and sleep.You will be restless here.

Jennifer:I don't want to go. Truck driver..

Daniel:How is Mr.Hakeem?

Jennifer: Mr ..who?

Daniel: My car driver.

Jennifer: He is in ICU .He is on ventilator.

Daniel: What...Ohh God,have some mercy on him.

Jennifer:Have you seen the truck driver?Can you recognize him?How this accident happened?

Daniel:Are you staying here for reporting?

Jennifer: What?I was just asking.I was curious to know. Don't tell ,if you don't want.

Daniel:I don't remember truck driver's face but maybe he was drunk he directly strike out car.

Jennifer:There will be a CCTV footage?

Daniel:I think so . I am not sure.Because cops were saying CCTv footage was out of order for days.

Jennifer:oh , I see.

Daniel:Is there anything i don't know?

Jennifer:No, no, it's nothing.If you need anything you can tell me.

Daniel: Anything?

Jennifer: No, I mean water if you need to drink you can say me.

Daniel:No . I am not thirsty.I just want to sleep.Will you please put on me blanket?

I am feeling cold.

Jennifer puts blanket on Daniel and lowers levels of A.C.Soon Daniel goes into sleep while Jennifer keeps looking at him.She thinks that Daniel is not as ugly as it seems.He has a nice nose.His eyes are pretty fine too.His eyebrows are normal.

But only this scar can't make him ugly.

Is this scar can't be hidden by any surgery .

Science has improved a lot.There will be a definitely surgery for it .But how he couldn't know about it. He is rich .He can undergo surgery if he wants, anytime.

Suddenly she looks at his hands .His hands seems so beautiful that Jennifer even wants to touch them.When she is busy in thinking about his hands, Daniel changes his position,he feels pain in his hand and then he opens his eyes.

Daniel:What are you looking at?

Jennifer: Nothing,nothing .

Daniel:Okay relax. You will get tired by sitting. the night is long .Why don't you lay down ?

Jennifer:I will not lay down with you.

Daniel similes.

Daniel:I was saying you to lay down on that couch.

Jennifer gets embarrassed and goes to lay down on couch.

8.00 am the next day.

Good morning, How are you Daniel? ? says Jack.

Jennifer doesn't like his coming.Daniel also gets surprised by his coming.

Jennifer:Why are you here?

Jack: Come on Jennifer.We are childhood friends after all.Our connection can't be ended by such a little joke.Emilia was busy in her studies so she has send her apology and good wishes.

Jack : Daniel,how

Jennifer interrupts Jack.

Jennifer: It's Daniel's checkup time.The doctor is waiting for us .we have to go.

Jack :oh!!Okay why not.Go. I will come at another time.See you.

Jack leaves the room.

Daniel:I think so you haven't slept well? Jennifer:Are you saying to me?

Daniel:Is there anyone else in this room?

Offcourse I am saying to you.

Jennifer:Who said to you?I am fine.

Daniel:You should go home now and eat breakfast at home . Hospital's food is not so good.

Jennifer: If hospital's food is not so good then why are you waiting here for your breakfast?

Daniel: Because hospital's food is for sick people and I am sick.

Jennifer:And I am the neighbor of that sick one.

Daniel ( similes) : Neighbor?

Meanwhile doctor comes in and says your tests are normal.you are fine. You can go home today.Make sure to not use your right hand for some days.

Daniel says thankyou to his doctor.

Jennifer packs things to leave for home.
