I nearly burst out laughing at my Mother’s reaction.
It took us a solid ten minutes to settle down. In those ten minutes she ran the gauntlet of emotions. She went from utter shock to disbelief to denial to fear to totally excited and everything in between.
She and my Dad have gone back up to their suite to talk. Bethany and I have had our ultrasounds and both look good. She’s all excited because they found out they're having a girl. I didn’t wanna know, much to Alex’s chagrin. Though I’ll admit I find his pout adorable.
