(Alex’s POV)
I heard the panic in Leo’s voice and spun around to see April’s eyes beginning to roll back as her body started to slowly shake. The slow shaking quickly built into full-on convulsions, and she began to slide off the chair onto the marble floor.
I was by her side in a flash, catching her before she could actually fall. “What the h*ll is wrong with her?” Nick asked as he grabbed her legs and pinned them down while Jake held her body down so I could hold her head. “She’s got severe anxiety. When it’s really bad she can go into convulsions, but there’s usually something that sets it off.” Jake said, his concern palpable as well.
“It’s not her anxiety. I would've felt that. This just came over her without warning.” I told them as I tried to keep myself and Max calm.
