(Alex’s POV)
“Ned? Stand down.” I commanded as I walked toward the rogues, motioning with my hand as I said, “Jake? Take them into custody.”
I didn’t like the way Ned was still standing there so aggressively looking at the rogues. “Ned? I told you to stand down.” I repeated but he didn’t even look like he heard me. So I situated myself between him and the rogues, giving him no choice but to see me. Or so I thought.
He seemed to look straight through me. It was like he only saw them and just ignored everything else. But then all of a sudden his eyes rolled back and he dropped to his knees then plunked over onto his side, unconscious.
At first I was surprised until I saw April standing there with her hands on her hips looking down at him. I just shook my head slowly even as I chuckled.
