That was probably the freakiest experience of my life. And I’ve had some truly freaky experiences, man. “Did… Did we just time travel?” I asked, still unable to hide my shock.
“Yeah, I think so”. April said as she grabbed her backpack and started rooting through it for something. When she drew out her sketchpad and pencils, I was a bit taken aback. “You’re going to draw now? We need to talk about this.”
“No. We don’t.” She said firmly, then a second later we were all drawn into a royal mind-link. “Not out loud. She’s watching, remember?”
